- 1 pound of beef in portions
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 glass red wine
- 1 can grated tomato
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ hot pepper or ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
- salt and pepper
Brown the meat in hot oil, tossing it quickly with a wooden spoon, so as not to overcook.
Add the onion and garlic, stir and add the wine.
Add the tomato paste, the grated tomatoes, the salt, the pepper, the chili flakes or hot pepper and fill with hot water as needed in order to cover the meat.
Cook for 40-50 minutes until tender.
Serve with fried potatoes or spaghetti.
